Continuation of consultations with the Republic of Kosovo

As a part of the endeavour for improvement of mutual cooperation in relations between the two countries in the area of judiciary and fight against organised crime and corruption and their transnational spreading and taking into account the importance and the need for narrow mutual cooperation of the countries in that very fight, as well as the fact that the Republic of Kosovo due to its specific political situation cannot access relevant conventions of the Council of Europe that regulate judicial cooperation in criminal matters, it is concluded there is a need for signing the agreement that would regulate relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Kosovo in this field.

With signing of this Agreement a necessary international legal framework related to international legal aid in criminal matters between the two countries shall be created.
